Tahio&Rubén

Organizar una boda no es nada fácil, para una mujer puede llegar a ser todo un ataque de nervios. Pero si la pareja tiene muy claro como quiere que sea ese día tan especial, organizar una boda es una de las mejores experiencias de la vida.

El caso de Rubén y Tahio es una de esas bodas en las que los novios tienen muy claro cómo quieren que sea su boda, sin pretensiones ni desacuerdos, la boda estuvo llena de buenos momentos y gratas sorpresas.

Os presento a la novia, Tahio, coqueta, femenina y muy discreta:

Tahio y Rubén son una pareja guapa y deportista, me quedé a cuadros cuando me dijeron que corren en los encierros de las principales ciudades españolas, ¡qué amor tan arriesgado! Se casaban en pleno diciembre en Madrid, ahí constaté que era una pareja muy especial.

La preparación de la boda fue rápida y con todo lujo de detalles. Rubén y Tahio se casaban por la iglesia y un Rolls banco les recogió en la puerta de su casa.

La pareja eligió Madrid como escenario de sus fotos, que por cierto, quedaron expectaculares:



Las fotos de invierno pueden ser encantadoras. Esta sesión la llevó a cabo la empresa Miss Blond (http://missblond.es/) y, aunque es cierto que los modelos pueden pasar frío por un par de horas, el resultado puede ser expectacular. Estamos muy acostumbrados a utilizar la luz del día para los álbumes de bodas pero creo, que con los nuevos avances en fotografía, se pueden obtener resultados estupendos. ¿Qué pensáis?

Una vez terminada la sesión de fotos, la pareja se dirijió al restaurante. Todo estaba preparado. Cóctel, brindis, banquete, sorpresas y baile, mucho baile.

Los novios impregnaron de amor la sala, sonrientes, comiéndose con la mirada... Algunos invitados dedicaron unas palabras, las del hermano del novio fueron especialemente emotivas, mientras otros pusieron las risas atreviéndose con una canción! Fue muy divertido.

La novia le dedicó una canción al novio, realizada por La vida en Canciones (http://www.lavidaencanciones.es/) y después abrieron el baile... Sí, mucho baile!

What can you hear in the Background? Part 3

A little sound before 2012 begins.

I bring you my english singers, only some of them (haven´t had much time lately... btw! I will put my first wedding entry soon!)

I´ve been thinking about the sounds of a wedding, tastes are different and orgasining the music is always complicated, it´s like a challenge. You are bound to know very well the couple, their likes and dislikes, their background... But the result is wonderful and most part of the guests notice that the music has been chosen with care.

English is pretty "well-known" so here I come with some songs with different styles.. These ladys are just so fine...

I love her mature, deep, smart voice. Without doubts, she is a must in a reception. The boy from Ipanema.. I even laughed. So elegant...

Melody Gardot

Her music is fresh, soft and she seems to be whispering while singing... Sometimes I feel like a Disney film song!

I found her by chance on Spotify and these two songs are my favourites.

Nina Simone:

- My baby just cares for Me
- Love me or Leave me

Soul singer, point of humour, fine voice mixted with jazzy rhythm and funny lyrics. Why not?

Amy Winehouse

- You Know I´m no Good
- Tears Dry on their Own

Amy, Amy, Amy... Could seem to be kinda subversive, but her voice deserves a try. Or not.

Her piano, her cloudy voice, soft sound and vocals are great for a chilled coffee before the wedding.

These are my girls of the 2011. I will probably start 2012 with males... And you know the reason!

She´s wearing pants

- Yes I know... But only for the wedding dude!

We have seen all kind of brides´ dresses, lace, ballgowns, strapless.. true. But pants. And they are sooo comfortable! I claim the comfort of the pant during the wedding without sacrificing elegance and grace. I fell by chance in YolanCris designer: http://yolancris.com/index.php?lang=en and their designs are sublime! 

Diving into their collection, I have noticed that they also design wedding pants dresses, you can see the top photo, the model is wearing tight lace pants and the result is shockingly good. I wrote YolanCris asking if I could borrow some of their photos, and they said "Of course!" - I do thank you very much - So, whet the appetite with these few ones and go have a look to their Bridal Collection!

I fell in love with this mannequin. She´s exotic, brunette and asian. Nothing to do with all the photos we are used to see in wedding dresses designers´ portfolio.

"Dress to impress". These awesome costumes, half pant half skirt, are perfect for adventurous brides and exotic wedding. Many couples seek for remote places to get married... like french Polynesia... choose the outfit that goes with...

What can you hear in the background? Part 2

Music is important, we all know. Every single day people are "singing" songs without knowing what are the actually saying.. Does it matter? I don´t think so.

Today, let´s talk about music we probably don´t understand but will transmit good vibes! Some artist are completely unkown for us and I think is quite fun to find northern singers and, why not? include them in our weddings. I don´t think is neccesary to fully understand the lyrics to feel if you like a song or not.. I was really taken with this artist I have chosen... I find them very stylish.

 I will put as well some english so you don´t get bored.

Best remake of the famous Don´t Speak I´ve ever heard. She´s polish, and I like her... Tell me your impressions about her music!!

Born in Sweden and famous after swedish´s tv show Talang, her songs are soft and made with care, her sound is perfect for dinners, it will definately impress your guests. (*She´s probably wearing H&M in the photo (= ... )

La música es muy importante, todas lo sabemos. A diario, millones de personas cantan canciones sin saber realmente qué están diciendo. Acaso importa? Yo creo que no.

Hoy vamos a hablar de música que, aunque no entendamos, nos transmite buenas vibraciones! Desconocemos muchos artistas del panorama mundial, hoy os traigo una recopilación de artistas del norte de Europa. Auténticas desconocidas en este lado del continente, pero no por ello menos valiosas. Quizá no entendamos las letras, pero este hecho no hace que las canciones nos transmitan menos.. A mi personalmente me han encantado, las encuentro a todas y cada una muy estilosas y su música variada y a tono con cualquier boda.

Espero que os haya gustado la lista, seguro que hay novias que se atreverán a incluirlas en sus playlists incluso sin entenderlas.. Al fin y al cabo, las mujeres somos díficiles de entender!

What can you hear in the background? Part 1

We take care of those big details: our dress, our bridesmaids, flowers, ilumination, food, cakes... Sure! Every detail counts, but... I am going to talk about something different.. The music!      So, during these weeks I will talk about music in our weddings.

Do not trust it to chance, probably nobody will pay attention if music is not too good, but they will appreciate a good selection of chosen songs, even more if they are chosen with care.

I will divide this work in several sections, starting with women and french...

There are some songs that should be in our list, it doesn´t matter if it´s during the cocktail or the wedding reception, they are a must .  Here I come with my first list:

Smart Carla Bruni:

Former model and smart singer, her songs are delightful enough to be in your list. I only suggest two songs because we have too many artists to talk about.


Everlasting Edit Piaf & Fréhel

Todas tomamos decisiones importantes el día de la boda: el vestido, las damas de honor, las flores, iluminación, menú, tarta .... Todos los detalles cuentan! Pero yo voy a hablar de algo que parece relegado a un quinto (por decir alguno) puesto, la música!  Así, durante estas semanas, hablaré de la música en las bodas.

En ocasiones se deja al azar y pocas personas prestan atención al hilo musical nefasto que muchas veces escuchamos en las bodas, pero seguramente apreciarán si la música está escogida con cariño y esmero. Además, la música relata qué tipo de novia somos y qué queremos transmitir. En ocasiones no hará falta saber de qué habla la canción, solo que nos transmita algo positivo y placentero.

Voy a realizar varios posts con diferentes combinaciones, empezaré por mujeres y francés...

Hay algunas mujeres (francesas o no) que merecen sin duda estar en tu lista, ya sea en el cóctel o durante el banquete. En la sección en inglés puedes ver de quienes hablo y porqué. Elles sont magnifiques. Toutes.

Let´s start from the beginning.

Twenty-five years, four months and six days have passed since I was born. Nobody knows what kind of person you will be when you were born, but people around you can describe you pretty well when you live with them...

Optimistic, diplomatic, organizer and moderator. Those are the most used adjectives with my identity.
Far from that, this is my real face:

Passionate about weddings, I start this new carreer as wedding planner full of joy and enthusiasm !

Empecemos desde el principio:

Veinticinco años, cuatro meses y seis dias me separan de mi nacimiento. Nadie sabe qué será de una persona cuando nace, pero nuestros allegados pueden describirnos bastante bien con el paso del tiempo.

Optimista, diplomática, organizadora y moderadora son mis adjetivos más reveladores. Exteriormente puedo ser otras cosas.

Apasionada por la organización, el detalle y las bodas, me introduzco feliz en este mundo nuevo para mí con entusiasmo y alegría.

Intentaré hablar de todas esas cosas que pueden hacer de una boda un día único, como queremos que sea.
