What can you hear in the background? Part 1

We take care of those big details: our dress, our bridesmaids, flowers, ilumination, food, cakes... Sure! Every detail counts, but... I am going to talk about something different.. The music!      So, during these weeks I will talk about music in our weddings.

Do not trust it to chance, probably nobody will pay attention if music is not too good, but they will appreciate a good selection of chosen songs, even more if they are chosen with care.

I will divide this work in several sections, starting with women and french...

There are some songs that should be in our list, it doesn´t matter if it´s during the cocktail or the wedding reception, they are a must .  Here I come with my first list:

Smart Carla Bruni:

- Quelqu´un m´a dit
- L´amoureuse

Former model and smart singer, her songs are delightful enough to be in your list. I only suggest two songs because we have too many artists to talk about.


Everlasting Edit Piaf & Fréhel

- La vie en rose
- Si tu n´etais pas là

Both are essential, including this two "well known" songs will delight the most demanding ears.


Eclectic Pink Martini

- Sympathique
- Hang on little tomato

Fun songs and guests will be impressed!


Waves of sound : Nouvelle Vague

- Love will tear us apart
- In a manner of speaking

New soft music, perfect for cocktails, almost touching new bossa nova (I will reserve a whole entry for this style) they are also a good choice.

Innocent Vannessa Paradis

- Il y a
- Dès que je te vois

Chic and innocent, talking about french music.. she is a must. Even the second song is worth to be in your play list.

Todas tomamos decisiones importantes el día de la boda: el vestido, las damas de honor, las flores, iluminación, menú, tarta .... Todos los detalles cuentan! Pero yo voy a hablar de algo que parece relegado a un quinto (por decir alguno) puesto, la música!  Así, durante estas semanas, hablaré de la música en las bodas.

En ocasiones se deja al azar y pocas personas prestan atención al hilo musical nefasto que muchas veces escuchamos en las bodas, pero seguramente apreciarán si la música está escogida con cariño y esmero. Además, la música relata qué tipo de novia somos y qué queremos transmitir. En ocasiones no hará falta saber de qué habla la canción, solo que nos transmita algo positivo y placentero.

Voy a realizar varios posts con diferentes combinaciones, empezaré por mujeres y francés...

Hay algunas mujeres (francesas o no) que merecen sin duda estar en tu lista, ya sea en el cóctel o durante el banquete. En la sección en inglés puedes ver de quienes hablo y porqué. Elles sont magnifiques. Toutes.

Let´s start from the beginning.

Twenty-five years, four months and six days have passed since I was born. Nobody knows what kind of person you will be when you were born, but people around you can describe you pretty well when you live with them...

Optimistic, diplomatic, organizer and moderator. Those are the most used adjectives with my identity.
Far from that, this is my real face:

Passionate about weddings, I start this new carreer as wedding planner full of joy and enthusiasm !

I will try to talk about all this topics I believe can help to make your wedding day unique.

Empecemos desde el principio:

Veinticinco años, cuatro meses y seis dias me separan de mi nacimiento. Nadie sabe qué será de una persona cuando nace, pero nuestros allegados pueden describirnos bastante bien con el paso del tiempo.

Optimista, diplomática, organizadora y moderadora son mis adjetivos más reveladores. Exteriormente puedo ser otras cosas.

Apasionada por la organización, el detalle y las bodas, me introduzco feliz en este mundo nuevo para mí con entusiasmo y alegría.

Intentaré hablar de todas esas cosas que pueden hacer de una boda un día único, como queremos que sea.
